Wren V. McCallister, MD

Dr. McCallister, M.D. is a Board Certified fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in the care of the hand and upper extremity.

Dr. McCallister is Board Certified in both Orthopedic Surgery and Hand Surgery (CAQ-Hand Surgery) by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

A native of the Seattle area, Dr. McCallister completed both his undergraduate and medical education at the University of Washington, where he also completed his Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery and advanced post-graduate subspecialty fellowship training in Surgery of the Hand and Upper Extremity.

Dr. McCallister has authored over 80 scientific works with a focus on care of the hand and upper extremity. He has been the recipient of multiple nationally-competitive research awards and research grants and he has lectured regionally and nationally on conditions of the hand and upper extremity.

Dr. McCallister serves as a Consultant Reviewer for the peer-reviewed journal HAND, the official journal of the American Association for Hand Surgery.

Dr. McCallister is the Consulting Hand Surgeon to the team orthopedic doctor (Dr. Michael B. Lee) for the following athletic teams:
