Mill Creek Same-Day Care
Mill Creek Same-Day Care options include the treatment of minor emergencies, including illnesses and injuries. At Mill Creek Family Practice, our goal is to provide you with the care you need, when you need it.
We have extended office hours, including nights and weekends, and are open 7 days a week. During office hours, there is always one or more providers who are on-call to treat injuries and illnesses which need to be seen on the same day. Walk-in patients are also welcome.
For Major Emergencies—situations which may result in loss of life or limb—call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room immediately.
Some examples of Same-Day Care needs which can be treated in the Mill Creek Family Practice offices and should be seen in a same-day appointment:
- Cuts requiring stitches
- Minor burns
- Fevers
- Cold & flu
- Pneumonia
- Severe cough
- Asthma attack or other, non-severe shortness of breath
- Vomiting and diarrhea
- Dehydration
- Allergies and allergic reactions
- Sinus infections
- Ear aches and ear infections
- Sprains, strains, soft tissue (tendon and ligament) injuries
- Eye irritation and redness
- Minor back pain
- Kidney stones
- Urinary tract infections
Examples of Major Emergencies. For any of the problems/symptoms listed below, Call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room immediately:
- Compound fracture (with bone extending through the skin)
- Heart Attack/Severe chest pain
- Severe shortness of breath
- Sign of stroke, including loss of vision, sudden numbness, weakness, speech problems or confusion
- Deep and/or excessively bleeding cuts and laceration
- Serious head, neck, or back injuries
- Severe burns
- Suicidal or homicidal thoughts
