Mill Creek Family Practice was founded in 1983 by Dr. Larry C. Schmidt and Dr. Mark T. Anderson. On its opening day, the practice comprised only 2,400 square feet, nine examination rooms, and a pair of very earnest doctors.
In 1988, MCFP moved from its original location (in the 16000th block of Bothell-Everett Highway) to 7,200 square foot space with 16 examination rooms, on Mill Creek’s Main Street, across from the Mill Creek City Hall.
In 1995, Dr. Schmidt died in a tragic small aircraft crash. His name now graces the building to which Mill Creek Family Practice relocated in 2001—and in which it still resides today.
We’ve grown a lot in the last three decades but the medical tradition established by Drs. Schmidt and Anderson remains. As does our commitment to this community. Our vision—providing easy access to high quality care for the whole family—has been as durable and successful as it is simple.
