The operative word in Mill Creek Family Practice is ‘Family’. We take pride in treating not just the whole patient but the whole family. We provide newborn treatment, geriatric (“elder”) treatment, and treatment for every stage in between. In addition to excellent care based on the best medical evidence, we strive to provide our patients with a caring, comfortable, familiar atmosphere for treatment.
One of our specialties is pediatrics.
As parents, you know that your children are not just miniature adults. They have different emotional, intellectual, and developmental characteristics and needs, go through different stages and phases, and require special care.
The same is true of their bodies. Children’s bodies are in a constant state of growth and change. At Mill Creek, we’ve treated generations of pediatric patients, often starting with them as newborns, and seeing them through to adolescence. We are experienced with the particular needs—physical, emotional, intellectual and behavioral—of every stage of childhood. We will give your child personal, compassionate care at every stage of development.
As with all of our patients, we believe in a course of preventive care. Schedule your child’s regular physical examinations even if he or she is feeling fine and displays no symptoms. Regular check-ups allow us to monitor development as well as observe and assess potential risk factors.
We treat all of the common pediatric illnesses and injuries including:
- ADD/ADHD diagnosis and treatment
- Sports medicine and sports-related injuries
- Issues related to oncoming puberty
- Acne and related skin problems
We also offer the physical examinations necessary for some schools and sports programs.
